What is Coastal Ballers?

Everyone starts somewhere.

Coastal Ballers Basketball is a beginner-friendly programme operated by East Norfolk Sixth Form College, giving children in School Years 2–6 the chance to discover basketball in a safe, welcoming environment.

Every session combines exciting games with simple basketball activities, helping children build confidence, develop new skills and enjoy being active alongside friends.

Sessions are delivered by experienced coaches connected with Great Yarmouth Basketball Club, creating a clear pathway for children who want to keep playing as they grow.

We provide the equipment. Basketballs and everything needed for the session will be ready.

Helping them settle in

Parents & carers

You are welcome to stay and watch, particularly while your child settles into a new environment.

Please use the designated spectator space and follow guidance from coaches or venue staff.

First-session nerves are normal. Our coaches will welcome your child and help them join in at their own pace.

Do parents stay during sessions?

Parents and carers are welcome to stay and watch from the designated spectator area.

What should my child wear?

Comfortable sports clothing and indoor trainers are perfect. We provide the basketballs.
